Volunteer Opportunities

The Upton Center believes that volunteers are a vital resource and commodity in making activities and programs successful. The Center is always appreciative of those individuals willing to donate their time to enrich the lives of elders in their community. We are always receptive to new people and new ideas for activities and programs. The following is a list of volunteer opportunities:

• Drivers for medical appointments
• Drivers for shopping
• Special events
• Outdoor work including landscaping
• Holiday drives
• Coordinating of activities and programs
• Experience in legal or financial matters

This list is always being modified and is not limited. Please feel free to call The Center with any questions or ideas and especially if you would like to volunteer your time in some way!

Side Note: The SERVE Program

This program allows people who volunteer 2 hours per month in community service to receive good quality groceries at a reduced rate. Please contact the Center for more information.
